Okay, granted, I wasn't at my apartment in Tokyo. I was staying at a hotel perched atop a mountain on the Izu peninsula. This was the view from the window at around 5:25am. By 5:40, fog had completely shrouded Mt. Fuji, so it was literally by a coincidental matter of minutes, that I got this shot. Amazing, huh?
